Marty Malone Appointed to Pennsylvania Transportation Advisory Committee
ATCS’ Marty Malone, associate vice president of business development, has been appointed to the Pennsylvania Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC). The TAC provides guidance to the State Transportation Commission (STC) and the Secretary of Transportation, advising on policies and planning efforts across all transportation modes and conducting in-depth studies to inform PennDOT’s long-range goals.
Malone is a seasoned industry professional with more than 30 years of experience delivering solutions for clients such as PennDOT, the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, and numerous municipalities. At ATCS, he focuses on identifying funding opportunities through grant writing, cultivating partnerships, and leading business development initiatives to strengthen the firm’s bridges and structures services. His expertise spans transportation policy, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
“I’m honored to join the Transportation Advisory Committee and contribute to the critical conversations shaping the future of mobility in Pennsylvania,” said Malone. “I look forward to supporting the committee’s mission of ensuring safe, effective, and forward-looking transportation systems for communities across the state.”
In addition to his TAC appointment, Malone remains active in several professional and community organizations. He serves as president on the board of The Learning Community of Pennsylvania, supporting individuals with special needs, and holds roles with the Blair County Chamber, the Government Affairs Committee in Bedford County, and the American Society of Highway Engineers (director of the Altoona Section and member of the Clearfield Section). Malone also serves on the board of directors for the local American Rescue Workers chapter. He is also involved with the Masonic Lodge and the Shriners in Altoona.
